Original southern survivor short bed 1973 f100 ranger xlt package with factory 390, factory air conditioning, factory automatic. I just purchased this truck off the original owner this week. This truck has never been in an accident. Never had any paint work done. And had low mileage on its peppy 390fe engine. It is a matching numbers truck and still has the original ford carb. interior still has the original radio. Nothing has been altered on this truck except for the wheels. very minimal rust around body. frame is excellent. runs and drives very nicely. all the aluminum trim is excellent and in tact. tailgate is rust free and functions perfectly. bumpers are rust free. bed has a few holes but overall in great shape for a 41 year old truck. I bought this truck with intensions of finding stock wheels to put back on and leave it 100% ORIGINAL but I just don't have the room right now. Due to a baby on the way I need to sell. A short bed like this doesn't come along often and we all know this. This is a truck you can drive out of here and drive all the way home. It spent most of its life in West Virginia and ended up towards the smokey mountains of north Carolina. I live 20 miles north of Wilmington, NC. I put a quick coat of wax on half the hood to show just how the paint can shine with a wax or a good buffing. my loss is your gain. please contact me with any questions. the drive train on this truck is excellent and does NOT need any rebuilding.
