This van was purchased new by a local state government agency (mental health center) in 1997, one owner, used as a transport van by them since then, recently replaced with a new one because of age, not because of any problems or issues, and sold to us two weeks ago. We purchased it directly from them along with some other items, not from a dealer/broker or auction, at this time we don’t need a transport van so turning it into cash. The van cranks right up, drives and rides good, engine is strong, transmission is strong, brakes are good, a/c is cold, heat is hot and the tires can be seen in the photos! The negative things to bring out are first of all the paint is faded and in spots faded all the way off, a buff/wax would help some areas and some simply need new paint, a full paint job and dent repair all over would be the complete way to make look new again, the unit has dents all over it, quite a few dents which would take a while to list each one so just look at the photos and video, also has some scratches around it in spots, the headliner has fallen and the material is gone, the tires are mismatched and can be seen in the photos and several of the seats are torn. The positive things to say is first of all it will be a cheap way to transport passengers, work crews, large family, etc., next is the miles are not high for its age, the running gear, engine and transmission are strong, no issues or problems, no dash lights on or leaks, drips, no smoke or anything like that, has plenty of life left in it and drives down the road great. We would suggest a good servicing but other than that and the appearance/cosmetic issues you can start hauling people immediately! Bottom line is, this is a beat up old van but is a cheap, very dependable way to get around and haul a large group of people, you can drive it and use it just like it is, will get you and many others from point a to point b.
