Vehicle Detail
1993 Camaro Z28 This was my fathers car purchased new from Ferman Chevy Tampa, I bought from him in 2005. This has been my project since then, and I no longer have the means to keep it stored safely. I have rebuilt this from the ground up and have driven it on weekends to car shows and local cruises. This car is FAST, however it has never been raced or abused in any way! Car has spent its entire life in Florida, was garage kept, and is rust free. The paint is original and beautiful with the exception of the top pass fender where the clearcoat is failing. Clean CARFAX that shows no history of accidents, or repairs. I am a retired mechanic of 27 years from the Coast Guard and have done everything on this car myself, except the machine work on the block. I have untold man hours invested in this car and a small fortune. I want this to go to a good home where it will continue to be enjoyed and preserved for many years. Car comes with all reciepts of items I purchased, plus GM service manual, two sets of keys, window sticker, and all service related paperwork that was performed on the car when my father owned it. ENGINE: Block was overbored .030, line honed, decked, freeze plugs and cam bearings replaced. GM Roller Hot Cam, 1;6 ratio roller rockers, new timing chain, GM Opti Spark, Balanced Eagle crank, rods and pistons, including main and rod bearings, aftermarket dampner, alluminum heads, (larger valves) hi volume oil pump, ARP head bolts, Bosch 36 LB injectors, adj fuel pressure regulator, ported intake, 58 mm throttle body, Mac shorty headers, magnaflow HI Flow cat converter, EGR delete, (block off plates) custom PCM for less chip, new alternator, starter, battery, TPS, IAC valve, K&N cold air intake, new GM fuel pump (acces door mod performed), Car was originally an automatic, I converted it to T56 Six Speed. New flywheel, tranny mount, clutch and throwout bearing, slave cylinder all new. Alluminum driveshaft installed, welded subframe connectors, strut tower brace, 3:73 gears, boxed lower control arms, boxed panhard bar, Flowmaster exhaust, hurst shifter, KYB shocks/struts, Bridgestone Potenza 275-40-R17 (less than 500 miles) SS rims, window tint, new carpet, leather upholstry, dr side window motor, white faced gauges, windshield replaced in 2011, kenwood stereo, upper dash replaced (no Cracks). Manual transmission GM chip installed when I performed the conversion. aftermarket chip piggybacks onto GM chip. Within the chip I had VATS deleted, knock sensor detuned, EGR/Smog deleted, fans energize at 180 DEG idle set at 600. CAR sounds awesome at idle, very lopey. I took no shortcuts on this car, six speed conversion looks as good as factory including GM wiring connector ends I purchased for the gear box. I opted to delete the skip shift option, On Oct-27-14 at 16:12:20 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: The mileage on this car is approx 90 thousand not 115 as I had stated. I replaced the cluster when I installed the white face gauges. The original needle color was yellow, I changed to a later model which had the red pointers. I have worked on this car over many years and I just remembered this mod. Thanks for Looking/Bidding!!
