Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1985 gmc high Sierra 4x4 3/4 ton pickup regular cab long bed. It has a rebuilt 406 small block with less than 15,000 miles on rebuild, it runs great and makes gobs of torque I have all paper work and dyno sheet to go with. New hays super truck clutch and flywheel. Sm465 4 speed shifts great. Nl208 transfer case works great but clanks a little because it needs a new chain, this is an easy fix for any transmission shop. Detroit locker rear. Manual locking hubs, 6" all suspension lift and dual shocks kit front and back. Rear disk brakes. Has an electronic E brake. 35x12.50x16.5 bf all terrains with about 1/4 tread left. Mickey Thompson Classic 2 wheels in great shape. New dash no cracks., door panels are in great shape. It needs new carpet and the seat recovered, paint needs a touchup but the body is solid. it runs and drives great it is ready to do whatever you need it to. Lots of money invested and it needs just a few more things to make it 100%, Or put it to work the way it is. Clear PA title in my name, and it's currently inspected until July 2015. I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime. Thanks for looking if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.On Oct-20-14 at 14:45:17 PDT, seller added the following information: For sale is a 1985 gmc high sierra k2500 4x4. It has a 400 sbc bored 0.30 over to a 406, the rotating assembly has been balanced, it has Keith black pistons, aluminum gm performance heads, edelbrock performer polished aluminum intake, comp rv tow cam, Harland sharp lifters, and Holley 750 dual feed carb. Engine only has about 15,000 miles on it and runs great. Plenty of power to make this truck scoot! it has I have all the paper work and the dyno sheet for the engine was built by a reputable shop, mark small machine. I recently replaced the auto trans for a sm465 4 speed the trans was looked over before installed shifts great all synchros good. When I did that I put a brand new externally balanced flywheel in along with a new hays super truck clutch. This set up has less than 5,000 miles. It hooks up great no slip at all. The only thing the drivetrain really needs is the transfer case chain is a bit loose and clanks some. Genie manual locking hubs. 6" skyjacker all suspension lift front and rear no body lift no blocks it was done the right way, 4 shocks in the front and 4 in the rear also this truck rides and handles great for a 1985. Dual steering stabilizer kit in the front as well. 35x12.50x16.5 bf all terrains about 1/4 tread left and mickey Thompson Classic wheels in great shape. 4 wheel disk brakes all around this truck stops great. Has an electronic E-brake. Body is solid as you can see from pics, but the paint is in need of a touch up. Floor pans, inner fenders, and under cab have NO rust. It has the original GM bed liner. Frame was painted and in great shape. Detroit locker rear does not clank is quiet and works great, front and rear differentials had fresh gear oil put in when trans was done. The truck needs a few things like the t-case chain and seat recovered but is a great start, and all of the costly time consuming work is already done. This truck is my baby but I need a crew cab that's the only reason I'm selling. Clear PA title in my name and is currently PA inspected until July 2015. Good luck bidding and thanks for looking, if you have any questions just ask.
