Vehicle Detail
I bought the car new in 2003. Exported it to the UK and it was titled in the UK. I now live in Florida so I re-imported it back to the USA. The car still sits on it's UK title and I have all of the importation paperwork as I never intended to run it on the road I have not re-titled it in the USA. I had a Twin Turbo kit fitted to the car and the motor has a Lunati stroker kit taking it to 6.3L. The engine was running fine when I last ran it in 2008. The car has a Meziere Electric Water Pump and an ARE Dry Sump kit, Wolfe Racing 10 point roll cage, Corbeau race seats, a bespoke fuel system with dual external fuel pumps. The radiator is also bespoke, the car has LG motorsports coil over shocks, GM T1 swaybars, Wilwood front brakes. Toyo R888 tires on the stock Z06 wheels. LG Motorsports rear wing, front lip spoiler, MOTEC M800 ECU, Power Distribution Module. PIXMA Dash display, plus a complete set of dials in a bespoke carbon housing. The car has a carbon fiber trunk lid and doors, so no glass windows. Currently the Twin Turbo kit is off the car as I was planning on converting the car back to normally aspirated. The cars needs electrical work to complete the wiring. The ECU and PDM were wired in by a professional race shop. Needs an exhaust system or to re-install the twin turbo kit, which would then need the alternator removing and re-locating. This will make someone a great project car for the winter and will make a fantastic HPDE car or track day toy. I originally planned to build the car as a C5R replica as I wrote the book on the Corvette Racing C5R / C6R history. http://vetteheadracer.wordpress.com/
