Vehicle Detail

We have had our Ebay acct since 2011 with few sales & no bad reviews. Several months ago my son sold a set of bicycle racing wheels & noticed a crack in the carbon fiber before shipping them. My son told the buyer about the problem but he gave a bad report which my son didn't respond to in time. No bids will be accepted by buyers with no history or bids. The truck is for sale locally & may be removed at any time. This 1937 Chev truck has 36,932 miles on it from with four different owners who have always kept it garaged . The engine, transmission, & rear end have never been opened or overhauled. The only restoration was on the exterior which was a bed and fender off paint restoration with no rust repair needed. New hub caps, beauty rings, tires, chrome tailpipe extension, wood bed sides, fog lamps, & turn signals are the only additions from the factory build. Several maintenance items such as carburetor rebuild, water pumps, & fuel pumps were needed along with other small items to keep it in good mechanical shape over the years. The engine runs very strong & smooth & starts up immediately hot or cold. It will seep a drop of oil about the size of a dime after being driven for several hours. The transmission is a 3 speed floor shift unit with all good gears & it is quiet. It does have a rough 2nd gear synchro & requires double clutching or slow shifting to 2nd gear. It does not leak oil. I do have a good four speed transmission that would go with the truck if the buyer wants but I would put a new synchro in the three speed as that is what it came with stock from the factory. The rear end is quiet going down the road & does not leak. The entire frame & drivetrain have never been steam cleaned or detailed but the frame is perfect and has never been in an accident by close inspection. This is one of the only vehicles I have seen that still has all of its original splash pans, covers, and cowlings. All of the original gauges, switches, cables, wipers, heater, window and door control and windshield crank work smoothly without problems. This is one of the tightest, driest original 1937 Chevrolet pickups you will ever see & all the gaps fit unbelievably even and tight. The pictures I have taken show those gaps from front to rear in good detail. It has the original factory original 1937 Philco radio with new N.O.S.speaker, A.M. only, but is clear and works smoothly. The paint is over 8 years old & done in a single stage urethane to look original and hold up but still show worthy with a few tiny rock chips. I will be available throughout this listing & would be happy to pick you up at the airport if you come for a personal inspection and test drive. I also have more pictures and would be happy to send them to you if you give me your E-mail. Thank you, Ron Radcliffe SLC, Utah, 801-573-1819
