Welcome to my auction of this 1971 Chevrolet Truck. This particular body style has become highly sought after in recent years, which has seen their collectible values increase dramatically. With that being said, this truck is in need of a restoration, however it is an above average candidate. This truck was a daily driver up until 2012, It is always better to start with a vehicle that has been driven regularly as opposed to one that has set idle for years. This truck has a rebuilt engine hooked to a power glide transmission. If you would like to drive this truck "as is" this is what you will need to do, Install a battery, hook up the exhaust at the manifold (new seal included) set the timing, install the drive shaft, that will put you back on the road. Of course if you want to build you a show truck , then you will need to do more. Here is the condition of the truck...... Glass: All is good EXCEPT the windshield, it is cracked. Body: Hood is Good not rusted out, front fenders are good, Cab needs rockers, cab corners have bondo, floor pan has been patched, passenger side door has a rust spot on the corner. Rear of the cab has a dent which can be pushed out from the inside. Bed: Steps are in good shape, fenders are good (driver side has a cut in the wheel well area, and it appears someone drilled 3 small holes to pull it back together? see pic) It still has wood in the bottom of it, along with a rubber mat on top of the wood. Tail gate isn't the best but it is there. Frame: It is solid Interior:New Fuel tank and sending unit, Missing dash pad, Missing door panels, Seat is not correct for this truck, Steering column has been changed to a tilt column. Tires: are decent and road worthy but not new. Title Status: Georgia does not require a title on a truck of this age, this truck does not have a title, HOWEVER it does have a legal Georgia bill of sale, which can be notarized if need be, along with it's most current State Registration, Georgia also offers a VIN inspection done by a Law Officer. With these documents you can register the truck in any State in the USA as well as Canada. Please check with your DMV to verify. Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding, If you are the high bidder please respond asap, I expect to be paid in full within 7 days of auction end this can be done by postal money order, personal check once verified, certified bank cashiers check once verified or cash if you are picking the truck up in person within the 7 day time frame. After I am paid, I can hold the truck here for you to arrange transport up to 21 days at no cost to you, I am moving so I prefer you pick it up promptly, My new place has no storage facility, if it did I would keep the truck and restore it myself.
