1982 Air cooled 2L Westfalia with automatic. This Westy has a number of problems and is being sold as a Fixer Upper or parts car only. This is the first year that had a water cooled engine and it is fairly easy to convert. It includes: Extra side and back glass, parts for air conditioning, radiator and cooling fan, misc other parts It does not have the exhaust system. This Westy is not running but the engine will start if fuel is squirted into the intake. This includes the Robert Bentley VOLKSWAGEN/VANAGON Factory Repair Manual for 1980 through 1991 and the Robert Bentley VANAGON Factory Repair Manual for 1980,1981 and 1982. There is also a number of new gaskets and seals. This Westy must be trailed, the tires do not hold air very long.The location is Southern Oregon near Grants Pass. The Carrots, as the bid gets higher I will include other parts with this Westfalia. They are not included if the price does not reach or go over the following numbers: $700 or greater, will include a set of 48 States exhaust heaters/headers, almost brand new. $900 or greater, will include a set of Vanagon air cooled head $1000 or greater, will include a early spare engine/parts (disassembled) $1200 or greater, will include two more spare engines/parts (disassembled) Again this is being sold as a parts car with no returns. NOTE: The Westfalia has a California title and they replaced the original VIN number on the drivers side door with a new tag. The original one from VW was corroded and not legible.That number is WV2ZA258CH03707 but on the title they show it as WV(W)2ZA0258CH030707. An extra W was added to the VIN. I can arrange to have the vehicle transported to you. I strongly recommend that you come out and inspect Westy before you do that as once it is on the trailer, it is yours, no refunds or returns.
