1976 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser in excellent condition. Believed to be 67K actual miles. A light "driver quality" restoration was recently completed on a rust free Southern California truck. I'm a Land Cruiser collector and enthusiast who has owned over thirty FJ40's, 60's, 80's and 100's over the years. This is one of the best running and driving 40's that I've owned. Starts right up with a little choke after sitting. Clutch is strong, shifts smooth, no brake fade. Everything works but needs e-brake cable. When I bought it the previous owner had recently rebuilt the 2F engine and replaced the front fenders. The truck was rust free and needed almost no body work. I had it painted Tamarack Green, and although it's very presentable it's not a show quality paint job. There is light orange peel in some areas and could probably benefit from some color sanding. The rust-free frame and underside of the tub have been painted black and the inside of the tub has been coated with Line-X. Old Man Emu 2.5" suspension lift, new CCOT rear jump seat covers, Spector water-proof front seat covers, radio delete plate, new 33"x10.50x15" BFG Mud-Terrain KM2 tires mounted on new powder-coated factory steelies/hubcaps. Trollhole Carb. Lots of new stainless and CAD plated hardware. New Ehsan OEM Reproduction soft top with powder-coated Reel Steel top bows. Lloyd custom rubber floor mats. Custom 1/2 doors fabricated from factory hard doors. I've included over 70 detailed pictures below.
