Greetings Ebayers and Mercedes Benz enthusiast. For you consideration My Ole Blue! I have owned this car since 2007 when I purchased it with 69,000 miles on it and it has about 165,000 on it now. It is one of the best cars I have owned. It is no doubt the best car in the snow I have ever driven 6" or less. I have had it so deep in snow I have left gas tank marks in the snow! "Getting around a Ford Explorer!!" I have maintained this car like I would own it forever. Unfortunately I have to sell it. I have only used synthetic oil since I have owned it. Tires have always been weighed, matched and replaced as a complete set. Important for 4matic Benz. Front drive shaft replaced at 110,000. Cooling system flushed every two years. Transmission serviced at 120,000. It has never been a run around car. Mainly used as a highway car I have been driving private school kids back to the city and to airports in it for years. In some of the photos you might see my Black Wagon, it's the one I use the most now because its interior is in much better shape. I am selling this car because I am purchasing another e320 sedan. This is a fantastic car but not a pretty as the "clients" would prefer it to be, so I have to move on. These are things to keep in mind. It is a 15 year old car. I would drive it to California tomorrow without hesitation, I have complete faith in it. However it is a car with 160,000 miles on it! In short it could go 300,000 or it could die in a week. Just being realistic! Front end still nice and tight. Tires 60% life left. The BAD. Rear wiper does not work, passenger mirror is silver, drivers mirror fogged. Passenger rear window works when it wants to? There is one rear seat belt not working. And there is one warning light on dash ( This light is on because the donor car had an option that this wagon does not have! It will not affect car passing inspection!!!) Sunroof only goes back about 5 inches. Mechanic says there might be a piece of weather stripping stuck in track? Also rear shocks are going, she's a bit bouncy at times. Years ago I would have just started replacing parts, however as I have said the interior is getting tired. 15 years of sunlight and young adults climbing in and out have taken there toll. About the warning light on dash: A few years back the EIS went. MB didn't want to work on car. "They did not think it was worth investing in." Now if you know MB you know it needs to be programmed. Local dealer wanted to do a complete diagnostic first $1,500.00 to tell me what I already knew what was wrong, and then $1,200.00 for new EIS?? I passed on this, instead I purchased a e320 sedan with blown transmission for $800.00 and swapped out completely matched EIS!! Then sold that car on ebay for parts $600.00! Car has run like a champ since. So what we have here is a solid MB wagon with plenty of life left in her! This would be great spare car Or a fantastic winter car for someone! Plenty of room for ski and hockey equipment. For anyone who is looking at Mercedes Benz for the first time. This car gets 27 miles to a gallon on the highway fully loaded! Please ask any questions.
