Updated disk brakes and stereo. I bought this beauty, Shorty, from a 76 year old man, Paul, the owner of legendary Paul's Hot Rod and Speed Shop. This was Mr. Paul's daily driver. Shorty got his name from having the bed shorten. The short short bed not only gives it a great look but also helps with it's performance. Being lowered 3" in the front with 2" in the back brings out an aggressive hot rod or rat rod look. Suspension was replaced recently (over the past 2 years) to include shocks, springs, tie rods, bushing, etc. The wheels are Mirror polished aluminum and wrapped with a staggered drag tire set up, small in the front and fat in the back, street legal tires. Gives the rear the tubbed out look without actually tubbing out the wheel wells. Lot's of nice chrome and polished aluminum.The powerhouse is the classic V8 Small Block 350, Edelbrock Cylinder Heads, Holley 750 Performance Carburetor, MSD Coils, Fan and Mild Cam. This engine shows off with a nice throaty rumble from the performance headers and exhaust. Chevy 350 turbo 3 Speed automatic Transmissions and 3:73 rear gears (posi) thrust this lightweight truck from green light to brake.
