1987 PORSCHE 944 TURBO (951) This is a NO RESERVE auction, meaning that the highest bidder at the end of the auction wins, regardless of the final price! You are bidding on a very clean 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo (951) in excellent mechanical condition! It is completely stock and has never been tracked, raced, or abused like many of the other 944 Turbo’s you will find. This 951 is fresh from having just undergone a very comprehensive service including: New Timing BeltNew Water PumpNew Hoses and BeltsNew Fuel Pump and LinesNew Spark PlugsNew BatteryFuel System Completely FlushedBrake System Completely FlushedBrake Calipers Disassembled and CleanedFresh Synthetic Oil and Filter Change This 944 Turbo has always been regularly serviced and drives exactly as it was intended. The engine revs smoothly throughout the entire rev range and produces plenty of power. The turbocharger spools exactly as it should, producing lots of strong boost. The brakes have been completely disassembled and cleaned and can quickly bring the car safely down from speed. The clutch is tight and the transmission shifts crisply into each gear. The rare and stunning color combination of white on black leather looks fantastic and really grabs a lot of attention. As with any car of this vintage, there is some expected age-related wear. Immediately prior to having undergone the comprehensive servicing outlined above, this car was in storage and will need new tires, as the current set has age-related cracks along the sidewalls. The driver’s seat and dash have some typical cracks as can be seen in the interior pictures. The sunroof mechanism will need adjustment and the air conditioner will need to be recharged. Other than these few items, I’ve found nothing else to fault this car on. With a new set of tires, I’d feel perfectly comfortable driving this car anywhere.
