This 1998 red Ford Contour needs a little bit of TLC to keep her on the road. The car does run and drive, however the transmission jerks when driven. It also has an electrical problem. The things that do not work electrically are as follows: Dashboard lights Gas Hand Inside Car Light Power Door Locks White Reverse Lights The things that do work electrically are as follows: Headlights Blinkers Brake Lights Engine had about $700 worth of work done to it in 2012, so it runs strong. When the car is turned off after being driven, every once and a while the engine continues to run and then shuts off. It does not happen every time the car is driven, only about once every few months . A mechanic at a local shop said that it was nothing wrong with the engine, but that the problem was caused by faulty wiring to the engine that needed to be corrected. The air and heat work in the car. The car comes with a spare tire and jack. The body of the car is in pretty decent condition for the year. It does have some scratches on it, but nothing really major. The car is priced reasonably to offset the cost of repairs, so it would be an excellent buy for a mechanic as well as an individual.
