Here's your chance to own a true piece of motorcycle history. Up for auction is an incredibly rare vintage Fire Orange 1972 Ossa Pioneer 250cc Enduro Bike with "stinger tail". 5 speed. This bike is an absolute trail weapon! This is an extremely low mile classic Spanish enduro bike, set up for vintage race events or trail rides. The previous owner was 66 year old and is one of the only remaining OSSA race mechanics from the 60's-70"s. Original piston and rings. This bike is very, very fast. Full race set up to be incredibly light. All unessential electronics have been removed. Bike could be brought back to street form if desired. Motorcycle runs and shifts beautifully. No bearing or gear noise. This bike has been totally gone through and tuned. All original hand painted and pin striped gas tank with no leaks or fading, original emblems retain their chrome and their clear luster (impossible to find). Original gas cap with vent tube. The rest of the original hand laid glass body work is in good condition, but is not show winning quality, a couple small spots have been repaired very well, and tail light holes have been filled for that race look (makes the stinger tail really pop). Gas tank paint is all original, however the paint on the rest of the body has been touched up and is not all original, but all artwork and lines have been kept original, shows some age but is great for a classic rider. Handlebars are not original, but are Ossa enduro race bars. Vintage high performance aluminum AKRONT race wheels fitted with Pirelli performance offroad tires and heavy duty tubes. Fully rebuilt and repainted rear swingarm with new bushings and bearings. New chain. New steel steering head bearings. All new fully sealed wheel bearings. New brakes. Completely rebuilt front forks with new seals and valve tuning. Ossa race throttle and compression release lever. New custom built handle bar mounted kill switch. Still has its original Spanish IRZ carburetor and air box (usually missing or replaced with Mikuni). If you want a classic Ossa, this is the one to get. This is the model everyone is after with the original orange and black race graphics with white pin striping. Original seat is in perfect condition, white Osaa logo is un-faded.
