Updated listing. I took this listing down last week since the car needed to have it`s annual CA Smog test. The car has passed the smog test and is registered for 2015. Service that was completed this week is as follows. New Oxygen sensor. New ignition relay and new Mercedes brand battery (not some cheap Auto Zone or Pep Boys battery). Very nice condition 1995 S500. This car has been exceptionally well maintained over the last 20 years. Always serviced at the dealer or at a Mercedes only service shop. I have had the car since 2009 and it`s been a fantastic car to own and drive. It has a new transmission that was installed at 100K. New flywheel and starter at the same time. The car has always been serviced by a proper Mercedes mechanic and has had only original Mercedes parts used for any repairs. The tires are newer. About 5K on them. Both front and rear brakes were just replaced in the last 2K. Body and paint are very good. a few light scratches but nothing more than would be expected on a car that`s almost 20 years old. Interior is excellent and still looks new. Leather is perfect with no scratches or torn areas. Same for the carpets which have always been covered with floor mats. The wood trim is very nice. A few little cracks in the clear coating over the wood. The AC was just charged and is ice cold. Many service records in a binder in order going back to about year 2000 up to last service in Aug 2014 when the coolant was flushed and a new thermostat and hoses were installed. Very reasonable reserve is offered. It`s getting hard to find well cared for examples of this big body Mercedes. Payment is expected within 5 days of the end of auction. Cashiers check.
