1956 Studebaker President Running & Driving Work in Progress Selling at NO RESERVE High Bidder Wins My pops is 74 years young and does not have the time, effort or space to finish all these old cars. This car is a 1956 President Studebaker Sedan. This car can be driven just as it is while you finish it. The car was repainted Blue & white, the seats have also been recovered and a new headliner installed. The door panels are included but were never installed. There is also lots of extra upholstery material to finish the interior. All the glass is good although the two side windows on the drivers side are cracked and included with the parts (flat glass and easily replaced) There are also some new rubbers and the felt wiskers for the door glass which still need to be installed. All the chrome and stainless is very nice and shiney. Take a look at all the parts which are included to finish up the car. The only rust is a small area at the drivers foot approx 4" or so, you can see in the picture which would be a fairly easy spot to repair. The steering wheel still needs to be restored although still works to steer the car and has been driven this way. There is even some extra paint that comes with car. The original type 289 V8 Engine runs great and sounds good with the new duel exhaust which exits at the rear bumper just like original. The transmission is the Auto flightomatic and it shifts just like it should. This car is a project that can be driven as it is, and can be finished with just some basic skills.
