After starting a restoration project and realizing that it will never be like it was when I drove it off of the show-room floor in 1969: Up for auction is a one owner 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport 396/375 4 bolt main bearings with factory aluminum high rise intake; close ratio 4-speed posi-traction .373 rear gears with approximately 100,000 miles. The engine has not run for several years but a mixture of kerosene and 20wt oil has been poured into cylinders to try to preserve. Painted approximately two years ago and trim still stored in trunk. All matching numbers. Included is the original window sticker, owner's manual and warranty card (protecto plate) Body has surface rust under fenders and under doors. All original except for: The carb, which was borrowed but never returned Dash cut out for aftermarket stereo (which is no longer installed) Iron manifolds replaced with Mickey Thompson Headers in the 70's Muncie shifter replaced with a Hurst Wheels replaced with Mags Steering unit replaced with power steering Add-on air conditioning which can be removed to revert to stock condition.
