This auction is for two triumph GT6s'. I purchased the 1973 earlier this year with the motor and transmission pulled. I have the original motor in pieces (purchased that way). The transmission is intact. The body of the 1973 is very straight and my original intention was to put the 73 back on the road, however after purchasing the 73 and pulling it home, it has turned into a much larger project than I want to handle at this time. I believe that all the parts are in the car to get it back together again, however the interior is very rough. A section of the passenger floor board will also have to be fixed. There is a new rocker panel included with the sale. I purchased the 1969 gt6 solely for the motor as it is supposedly good. I bought this car with the radiator pulled, however, I have had it started and it seems to run pretty smooth (I only ran it for 30 second intervals as there was no radiator). I have not done a compression check or oil pressure check at this point, however, my intention was to evaluate the motor before removing it from the 69 and putting it into the 73. The 69 gt6 is strictly a parts car. All of the floor boards are shot and the body itself has lost integrity. The frame seems to be in excellent shape as well as the rotoflex joints. Transmission is intact, however, not tested. Only 14,000 GT6 MKIII were built from 1971-1973 and lesss than 4000 were produced in 1973. The biggest difference in the 1973 is that there are no rotoflex joints. This is a no reserve auction and the starting bid is well under the value of the parts from both vehicles.
