1988 Toyota 4 runner SR5 V6 5 speed. 294k runs great! Very dependable truck in very good original condition. Recently driven from Alaska to Florida in April without problem. Preventive maintenance before the trip includes new cylinder heads, all fluid changed and brakes. In short a super little truck that looks nice, unique and will easily go another 200k. Possible delivery to major city east of the Mississippi THE GOOD- Soft topper makes for a fully enclosed rear, "safari top" and full convertible in a few seconds. Soft top in excellent condition and original hard top comes with vehicle- Runs great, no smoke, doesn't burn oil- Transmission and clutch solid- Paint, stripes and interior all very good (new paint 2009)- New cylinder heads with valve adj and shims Mar 14 (cyl bores looked excellent)- New brakes front and rear Mar '14- Drivers side axle bearing Mar '14- New water pump, front main seal, cam seals and timing belt Aug '13- Cap, rotor, plugs, wires and axle/gearbox oil change Aug '13- Power steering pump and O2 sensor 2008- "Turbo" interior with adjustable seats and "avionics" gauges- Some extra parts: hub, starter odds and ends- Zero frame/body rust or damage (except as noted below)- Block heater (perfect for Florida!)- Trailer hitch- Sony am/fm CDTHE BAD- A/C inop. Never used it in AK so it hasn't worked in at least 6 years, will need complete servicing- Check eng light. Decodes to a knock sensor which I replaced along with a new lead ($200!) during head swap....still shows same code. I know parts are fine so I just ignore the light- Tires will need replacing soon. I'd give em 5000 more miles till they hit the wear indicator- Cruise control inop- Few little odds an ends one would expect with a 26 year old vehicleTHE UGLY- Rear fender/wheel well has some rust bubbles - Window trim missing drivers side- "4 wheel drive" emblem missing off tailgate exposing a little primer spot- Small crack center bottom of windshieldNOTES- Questions or more pictures just ask, thanks for looking!On Sep-22-14 at 15:41:09 PDT, seller added the following information: **Note added Sept 22nd** I replaced the Fuel Pressure dampener a few weeks ago and after a drive today the garage had a gas smell so as a precaution the fuel seals will be inspected and replaced as needed. This will be repaired at my expense before sale...might just delay delivery slightly depending on how quick winner wants it.
