1965 CORVETE STINGRAY Fast Back Coupe My husband and I have had this car for 40 years. He recently died and I do not drive. We moved to our ranch in the Mojave Desert 10 years ago at which time we put the Corvette on non-op, the weather and roads here are a little rough. We have kept it in a climate controlled garage and drove it on the ranch every two weeks. Since his death I have had someone start it, check tires, etc. every week. My description of the car is what I found in it's folder from my husband. I will not be able to answer any technical questions. And if I spelled something wrong or stated in incorrectly I'm just translating what I think I have written here. Someone who was interested in the car came out and pointed out some other things that I have added to the description in this relisting. 15 years ago - Ermine White 22 coats of laquer in excellent condition. - originally silver 300 HP AFB Carb (original) 4 wheel disc brakes with S. S. calipers 4 speed manual transmission - Borg Warner Black interior - black leather seats - all perfect - originally white vinyl Flawless original dash A/C Freon Original radio Original manual Original bumpers 1964 hubcaps There is a small 1" diagonal hairline crack in the paint job at the upper corner of the headlight on the passenger side The inside felt strip is missing on the passenger window I had to use a battery charger to start it this last time. The fender on the front passenger side had been damaged and repaired at sometime. When the gentleman who came out started the car he said he heard a little ripple (?) in the sound. He tried to get me to hear it, but I could not hear anything other than the usual engine sound...but then I am definitely uneducated in these matters. So there it is. I believe that is the best I can do and the sale will be AS IS.
