1965 Chevrolet Impala SS This 1965 Impala SS is being offered for sale. Running condition is unknown, engine does turn over by hand. I recovered this car from a garage in Milwaukee, where it was last registered May 1977. Please look at the pictures and email me your questions. There is rust through on the drivers front fender lower section. There is also what appears to be body filler on the right rear quarter panel, and rust through. The floors have some rust through too. The rockers appear to be very solid, and so do the doors, right front fender, left rear quarter, frame, front end, and trunk area. The VIN is 166375J213171. 1st digit = Chevrolet, 2nd & 3rd digit 66= Impala SS V8(1965), 4th & 5th 37= (1965-66 Impala & SS, sixth digit 5 = 1965, seventh digit J = Janesville, Wi., Last 6 digits = production sequence, starting with 100001 at all plants. I have a clear title for this vehicle. This car is presently being stored in Mauston, WI. Pick up can be arranged from that location, or I can bring it back to Milwaukee, WI for transportation pick up.
