Vehicle Detail
This is a project car it does run and drive. Push button transmission needs work it does drive just needs time to warm up. Passenger front floor pan has been replaced. The outer rockers have been replaced. Lizard skin sprayed on the floor and above the head liner. Rear breaks are new they have 1965 Chrysler backing plate with new brake shoes, springs and wheel cylinders. Drums are from a 1982 Chrysler New Yorker . We have a Scarebird disc brake conversion kit for the front brakes that goes with the car not installed yet. Newer tires. Dayton wire wheels. We do have the factory AM radio not installed the dash is not cut for current radio that we can tell . The person before us made an adapter plate for the radio. New 22 circuit wiring harness. New center link. Dual Magnaflow mufflers, exhaust going out the rear bumper ports. Valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, wires. Have a new oil filter for next oil change. We have most chrome trim to go back on the car. New aluminum radiator. Master cylinder was replaced and is leaking so will need anew one. All brake soft lines were replaced. Driven it less than 2,000 miles since we have owned it and that was just to drive it to the local KKOA car show and around town on nice days. Has been garaged since we bought the car. Trunk pan has rust inner rockers have rust. Wheel well (lips) have rust. Front seat is out of a 1965 Chrysler the reason for this is because it didn't have the front seat in the car and the rear seat is the original but I made cover for the seat because it was just the springs when we got it. Door panels are a home made . The car was a shell when we picked it up. So we have slowly been working on fixing it up. We do have 4 factory Desoto Hub Caps. Previous owner did put a one wire GM alternator. Odometer and Speedometer does not work. Car sold as is, no warranties no refunds, this is a project car, this car does run and drive once tranny is warmed up.
