This Spitfire is incredibly clean, with Very Very Low Mileage and spent most of it's life in each owners garage. Every where you look this car is very clean. It was their pride and joy. We purchased it from thefrom the third owner directly. The gentelman we purchased it from was a pilot in the Airforce and did move often, so it appears to have more owners on the Autocheck than it has. It comes with the Booklets in the Glovebox and full srvice records from all owners. The records are over an inch thick. This is a very sought after British Collectible. A Triumph Spitfire that is in this condition with the complete service history, are getting hard to find and with the low mileage and electronic overdrive transmission. This car has every option that was when sold. The Factory Hard Top Electronic Overdrive, and the Factory Chrome Luggage Rack. The British Racing Green Paint, has great shine and depth with very very minor scratches or rock chips or very small door dings, visible only under very close inspection.The Top is Original but is in fantastic shape and has a completley clear back windows. The Factory Boot is in the trunk along with the Original full cockpit enclosure that would come with the car when it was new. This Spitfire comes with the very sought after Factory Matching Hardtop. It has the Factory Steel Wheels with Triumph Center Caps,and comes with very good Tires, that are slightly oversized and really gives the car added control and handling.The Interior: is also in very nice condition with really no wear. Very good Condition and is completely stock.The dash is in great condition and still has the Factory Radio. The carpet and matching Triumph Logo floor mats show very little wear as do the Seats. The seats are in like new condition, with the Factory Houndstooth fabric. The wood on the dash is flawless. The entire interior is in fabulous condition. The pictures do not do this Spitfire, justice, it is better in person. This Car runs and drives Very Well. It has good power and drives tight, and brakes straight and smooth. The Transmission shifts smooth, clutch relealeases at the correct point, and does not have any synchro issues even when shifting up and down, and the overdrive works great in both 3rd and 4th gear. That makes this car a real pleasure to drive. These cars are definitely on there way up in value. This is a very well cared for Triumph Spitfire Convertible with the Factory Hardtop.
