Vehicle Detail

I intend to be overly detailed in my descriptions and hope I don't make the car seem worse than it is. It runs and drives fine and can be daily driven as is. The AC works and is charged with R134a. I currently drive it in the summer and store it inside in the winter. The tires that are on it vary from “okay” to almost new. They do not match and could use a balancing. It also could use an alignment, as the car does pull a little to the right. I haven't had any abnormal tire wear though. I bought this car in the fall of 2012. I was told it had been sitting indoors for about 4 years before I got it. Prior to me owning it it was in an accident and the title does state that it is “rebuilt salvage.” That means it has passed Wisconsin inspection and is road legal. I don’t know the full history, but it looks as if it was a front end impact and a new (or used) radiator support was welded in. In the pics under the hood you can see that the top of the radiator support has been scratched up (by the previous owner) and is painted white underneath. There is a pic of inside the passenger front wheel well were you can see a plate welded in in front of the two rubber plugs which I think is the seam. From the top it looks to be just in front of the strut tower. The driver's side looks like they drilled out some spot welds and replaced it to the front of the frame horn. I am not an expert in this area, so no guarantees - just telling you what I think I see. When I got it it had bent valves from a broken timing belt. Several of the valves and some of the valve guides were replaced. The head was milled and the pressurized oil passage was enlarged as recommended when the head is milled. Light port work was done at the time, just a little more than smoothing out casting marks and irregularities. Also, the stock turbo manifold was cracked, so I upgraded to the 2nd gen manifold. I also noticed it already had been upgraded to the 14b turbo, 450cc fuel injectors and ECU from a manual car. All the bad things condition-wise should be mentioned in condition section and visible in the pics. Other newer parts include:front brake pads and rotorsrear padsvalve job associated parts like head gasket, timing belt, valve cover gasket fuel filteralternator and AC belts are newradiatorrear hatch lift supportsspark plugsplug wiresECU caps replaced preventativelyTCU was “rebuilt” by AvPro ECM The exhaust is stock. When I got the car, the muffler was hanging under the car securely, but not attached to the pipe. At that point it would break the tires loose pretty consistently in a straight line on dry roads both when the boost hit in first gear and again when it shifted to second. I have since reattached the muffler as I prefer a quiet ride and you can notice a little less power. It still breaks the tires loose from time to time, but not as frequently. I have never turned the boost up and I see no evidence that the previous owner did either. I am selling it as it is just not practical at this point in my life. I have 5 children and even my youngest 2 barely fit in the back seat. I would rather not have to deal with storing it this coming winter and I know if I keep it much longer I will be looking at getting it painted and then starting down the never ending path of performance modifications. There is currently a Pioneer head unit with front usb and Ipod control that could stay in for $100 on top of winning bid. Otherwise the factory radio will be reinstalled before pickup. Payment and pickup to be completed within 7 days of auction end. $200 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of auction close. Buyer is responsible for shipping or pickup arrangement and costs. I will assist as my schedule allows.
