1975 BMW R90S, Daytona Orange, 37K original miles. In 1996 this bike was completely rebuilt and repainted at Speed's Cycle in Maryland. The engine and frame have matching numbers. At Speed's Cycle the bike had the following done. Body painted to the original Daytona Orange paint scheme. New windshield. The engine was given a complete overhaul. New pistons, new valves, guides and springs an upper and lower end complete rebuild. New seals, gaskets all round . Lightened flywheel, transmission overhaul, new shift kit and installation of the Dyna 111 electronic ignition. Most all rubber parts replaced. Wheels rebuilt with stainless steel spokes, new Metzler tires, tubes. New progressive springs in front and progressive shocks in rear. The bike had 30,085 at this time. So only 7,000 miles since this rebuild. Recently tuned by Gerry at Brown Motors BMW in Pomona, CA. I purchased the bike in 2010 and have only added 1200 miles to the odometer since then. It has been kept under cover and an annual oil change has been completed. Recently replaced battery with new gel unit. Starts and runs perfectly. Could use front fork boot replacement as the rubber shows some deterioration, otherwise in pristine condition. Bid with confidence on this rare and collectable machine
