It has a 1.9L, 4 cylinder, engine that has great pick up and a 5 speed manual transmission that shifts in and out of all gear with no problems, the clutch grabs strong, and the suspension is tight and smooth. The car runs richly, smoothly and quietly, and is in excellent shape. Save on gas with this well known Turbo-Diesel engine. I had the car inspected by our mechanic to confirm that there are no leaks or malfunctions and that everything is in fine working order. There are absolutely no known check engine/service needed lights or malfunctions. This is a prime example of the sought after 03 ALH engine code “P” TDI wagon. As the TDI aficionados’ know the ALH motor combined with the reliable and trouble free manual 5 speed tranny makes this TDI one of the most fuel stingy and long lasting of all the TDI models. The interior is exceptionally clean as you can see in the pictures. The body of the car is in very good condition with almost no dings or scratches other than a few scratches on the rear bumper.
