1982 CORVETTE COLLECTOR EDITION Approximately 35,000 original miles I bought this low mile car with the plan to keep it a long time. I started to upgrade it to be a reliable car to use and not sit in a garage. But plans change, I always wanted a Pontiac Safari and just bought a 1956 so I have to let this car go otherwise I would keep it. It was in good shape when I bought it, but had all original parts still on it. For the age of some of the parts, I felt they should be changed. Some changes like the new aluminum radiator , aluminum water pump and the clutchless fan had the added benefit of taking about 20 pounds off the weight of the engine. Everything works. Car is for sale locally so auction could be stopped before end time. This is a list of the many improvements I have made. All new fluids New belts New aluminum radiator and hoses and thermostat New aluminum water pump New aluminum clutch-less fan New tires New battery New fuel pump/float (for gas level gage) New speed transducer (for cruise control/speedometer) New high beam headlights Some new suspension rubber New front and rear shocks New leaf spring rubber New hatch window lifter shocks New hatch window weather strip New T-top underside weather strip New windshield post weather strip (Have weather strip for door posts and T-top outer edge. Not installed) I installed a bolt on trailer hitch to use to carry a bike rack or small cargo tray. Hitch was never used yet. Receiver has Light up Chevy emblem plug that operates as a third brake light. Interior is in good condition. No rips or tears. I have some of the original parts that I replaced. E.g. Radiator, fan, water pump, shocks.
