You are looking at a 1959 jaguar mark 9 saloon car. There was exactly 10,009 of these cars made from 1959- 1961 less than half made it to the U.S! Out of that who knows how many are left? There are some very nice cars out there. and there are some very rusted out. This one is neither, it is very solid but nowhere near perfect. i would say 90% original with about 90 % of the car intact. The left fender has been repainted and the left fender chrome moulding is not original. The only rust is in the bottoms of the doors there is some bubbling but no holes. Very repairable. I have a box of brand new parts shipped over from england for it incluing one of the gas tanksand some new calipers. I also have a box of old original parts. This car has 4 wheel disc brakes from the factory! This car ran and drove last in 2006, when it was parked and was restoration was started. The guy who was restoring it fell ill and never got to finish mainly just deconstruction and not much of that was done. The fuel tanks are not in the car and the brakes are not working therefore the car cannot be driven. I can however start this car on carb cleaner to prove runabilty. The winning bidder should plan on picking up this vehicle with a trailer or hiring a tranport to haul it. and will be responsible for setting up payment and deliery of this vehicle. I will help with loading this vehicle if needed at no charge. I have no problem with anyone who wishes to come see this car for themselves, and I encourage it. I am selling this car at No Reserve, I beleive anyone who sees this car will say I described it very acurately .... also look at all the pictures . Bid with confidense! This is an absolute auction.
