Vehicle Detail
1971 Plymouth Duster 440 4-speed project. Includes a 1974 Dart Sport that can be used for parts or could be built as well. Duster has big block k-member installed and includes a non-rebuilt, stock, running 440, 4-speed transmission and used big block Hooker Super Comp fenderwell headers. The engine is currently sitting in the Dart Sport. The Dart Sport is a manual transmission car. The 4-speed tunnel hump has already been cut out to be installed in the Duster. The steering column and clutch pedal assembly is still in the Dart Sport. The Duster is solid less needing a lower quarter on the driver's side and some repair work in the trunk. The trunk pan has a few small holes that could be patched. The rear vertical panel in the trunk needs replaced as well. Includes the chrome bumpers in the pictures as well as a pair of stripped bumpers to be painted. Two pair of bucket seats, I believe the ones in the Duster are Mopar seats, not sure what the ones in the Dart Sport are out of. Apart from some interior pieces, pretty much everything is here to build the car. Both cars have 8.25 rear ends. The engine compartment and outer inner fenders have been refinished on the Duster. Paint is Sassy Grass Green. Some sanding has been started on the rest of the car. The car is currently sitting with the front clip off of it. The pictures below of the assembled car are from just before the car was started on. The Dart Sport is in an outbuilding and it is a little difficult to get good pictures of it. Both cars come with a BILL OF SALE - no titles (in GA titles are not required on cars older than 1986). Depending on your state you could probably get a bonded title. If you want and pictures of anything or have any questions please let me know. I am not interested in parting the cars out. The cars are also listed locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. These cars are priced VERY fair, just considering the parts that are there. *Some pictures of the Dart Sport below. It is an A/C car and the heater box is there. I have listed the 440 as non-rebuilt and stock because I have not been in the motor. It does have a Torker II intake (I believe, maybe Torker) and I think a Holley carb that could use a rebuild. Judging by the way the motor sounded when it was running, I suspect it may have a mild cam in it as well.
