Vehicle Detail

I bought this 2001 New Beetle in 2003 from a new car dealer with 28470 miles on it. Since I have owned it it has never been driven in snow or rain. I have driven it only in the summer on sunny, dry days. It has always been garaged and is stored covered in a heated garage from November through May. As with all my vehicles it has been meticulousy taken care of and gently driven only by me. It still looks, drives and smells as though brand new. The oil and filters have been changed every year. Except for regular maintenance, new batteries and tires, this vehicle has never given me any trouble mechanically. Except for the defects noted above, the exterior of the car is perfect, rust free, and looks terrific. The interior is exceptionally clean and there is no wear and tear on the leather seats or the floor carpeting. This is a very cool car that is fun to drive and gets a lot of attention wherever I go because it is so shiny. It is very quiet running and the turbo kicks in at a low RPM to give the car a nice little boost. The car is very economical and I consistently get over 30 miles per gallon in city or highway driving. The car will go over 400 miles per tank of gas with still 1/8 left. I am including two sets of floor mats with the vehicle along with the original owner's manuals and service records. Additional pictures available on request. On Jul-17-14 at 13:23:16 PDT, seller added the following information: VEHICLE UPDATE: JULY 17, 2014 I just brought the Beetle to the Volkswagen dealer for a check up of all systems and everything checked out. They installed all new ignition coils as part of a recent recall and informed me that the car does need a new front oxygen sensor. They said that the car can be driven perfectly fine without being replaced right away. I have factored this into the recent price reduction of the car from my original reserve amount.
