1968 Datsun 2000 Roadster SRL311- numbers matching car - A great driver restoration. New carpets, new interior panels, new KYB shocks, new zerks fittings, new tires and wheels, new brakes and clutch hydraulics, all new weather stripping including windshield rubber. Gas tank cleaned and lined. All new fluids, with Redline lightweight shockproof fluid in the tranny. A lot of time and care went into this car. Odometer shows 44k unsure if accurate but probably is because not too many made it to flip 100k! All gauges work and all lights work. Steering wheel has been leather wrapped and adds for great feel. Horns work, wipers work with new wipers, driving lights work but need to be hooked up. Headlights have been upgraded to H4's. Smooth shifting 5 speed, timed and tuned SU carbs...this car has also been upgraded with an electronic distributor ( NOT petronix kit ) new plugs and wires. Paint is older and is not the best but looks good from 10ft. Have soft top frame and new top but not mounted. All interior knobs and handles are 1968 correct ( knobs and handles changed before and after 1968 ) floor boards are sound with a few MINOR pin holes...floor pans were also rustmorted and POR15'd. This car has been rustmorted from stem to stern, the whole car passes the magnet test. Some new but chrome is in great condition, bumpers shine well but do have some haze. A proper '68 bumper will be included with the car but needs to be rechromed, the one on it is off of a '67. front bumper a nice driver with holes for an Ammco bumper over-rider. Not too much is known about this cars history - essentially it is a car that dreams have gone unrealized and it has ended spending alot of time in a garage waiting to be completed. The motor has been out at some point and has been gone through. As stated earlier it runs and shifts smooth, has good power and is as smooth as it gets on the roads and highways. This car has a clear TN title and has a bill of sale from the previous owner. A non-refundable down payment of $1,000 is due within 24hrs of auction end via paypal and the balance due within 72hrs or sooner via cashiers or bank transfer - Vehicle pick-up and transportation is the sole responsibility of the auction winner.
