Vehicle Detail
1965 Ford Mustang 289 V8 I purchased this from a dealer that specializes in classic and high end cars 2 years ago. I have always wanted at 65 Mustang but since I am not "mechanically inclined", I ran out of money having things done to it and I am deciding to sell. I have spent over 10K including what I have had done to it. I have been proud in how it drives and also of the interior which I think is is in good shape. It is a good cruiser that gets a lot attention when I take it out. Below I will list some of the things I have done and what I would do if I was able to afford and keep it. As I am not "mechanical", I will try and answer any questions as best as I can. On Title mileage is Exempt, so I do not know the actual miles. Thank you for looking and good luck !! I needed to put a number in the listing for mileage, but as I stated earlier, the actual mileage is Unknown and listed as Exempt on the Title. Some of the things I have done New BF Goodrich Tires (under 300 miles on them)Dealer I purchased from had the car paintedRefurbished gauge / dash clusterNew Heater Core and Heater box assemblyFront and rear wheel cylindersBrake hosesRebuilt TransmissionAutomatic shifter assemblyPremium Fuel TankTaillight housing / harnessOther smaller things - fresh oil change on 8/23 Some things I would do New rims - looks like the original hubcaps currently and the front drivers side came off and I have just left it off.Headliner - there is a rip in the current oneStereo - currently has a cassette playerRear bumper - dealer I purchased from had new front one put on, but a new back one would be nice I'm sure that there are other things that an expert would do, but for a 50 year old car, I think it is pretty nice and I am starting this at a low price.
