Bike is 23yrs old and looks it. Paint is tired, fairing is cracked, ABS is not working. Now for the good. In the last year I have installed new Speigler stainless steel brake lines, progressive fork springs and a new YSS mono shock (all purchased from Ted's BMW shop). I installed a newer 5 spoke 17" rim and a brand new set of metzelers Z6 tires just last month. I also replaced the spark plugs, fuel filter and drained and replaced the fluid in the transmission, final drive and engine oil 2x as part of the 3,000 mile service. The bike runs, rides, handles and stops great! I am selling it because I was recently diagnosed with menieres disease (ear problem) and have lost hearing and have frequent episodes of vertigo. Can't ride a bike that way! So. I know I will never get what I put in it back, but I do need to sell it. My original plan was since it had low miles and wasn't the prettiest bike, I was going to slowly restore it and keep it as my last bike. edited; I forgot to mention that I have a set of saddle bags and the original 3-spoke 18" rim that has a Metzeler tire with some life left.
