Up for Auction: (1) 1983 Honda GL650 Silverwing With only 15K+ miles This Limited Edition motorcycle is in pristine condition!!!! Description:I am selling this beautiful artifact of the 1980's because I do not have the time to enjoy it as it needs to be. I now have a "new born" child and priorities much change to...changing diapers:-) The condition of this bike is truly wonderful for being over (30) years of age. I actually believe the bike runs and handles better now than it did when it was new; this is because of the steering adjustments made and the upgraded grease inserts among the many upgrades to the bike. This bike has been meticulously maintained with the addition of numerous maintenance upgrades; below is the list of upgrades/maintenance adjustments. Obviously this motorcycle has never been wrecked and comes with a clear title. The bike runs like a dream; I would have absolutely no issues ridding it across the country!!! Description:15,000 + miles (currently riding)Factory Hondaline AM/FM Radio - works perfectlyOriginal tool kit and manualHonda service manual on CD Upgrades/Maintenance Adjustments: (2) Brand new Dunlop radial tires.Front forks have new progressive springs.Installed new heavy duty seals.New fork oil to help with driving during heavy braking (also air assisted front & rear).New steering head bearing w/tapered rollers & seals.Rear Mono-shock articulating suspension has been completely disassembled & cleaned.There have been several grease insert fittings installed (as factory Honda never installed them) thus, this bike will never have a suspension "squeaking" problem like most Goldwings do.Always use Honda oil & filter.New Battery.Brand New Honda Interstate foot bars that have not even been installed.
