*** Sorry for taking this off auction then relisting - one of my sons wanted me to keep it and then changed his mind. *** However - if it doesn't sell by Saturday evening I will probably take the auction down permanently and try again in the spring when the value of the bike will be where it should be. Book value on this is almost twice what I have the price set for. I bought this Rebel from Struther's Bros. in Des Moines 3 years ago so I had something to ride while my college-age son was getting his motorcycle license (in Iowa someone with a license must ride next to someone who only has a motorcycle permit). It had under 1,000 miles on it then if I remember correctly so it has only been ridden 1,500 miles in the past 3 summers. I drive it a few miles each week just to keep it running good so the actual mileage will increase a bit over what is shown today. I added leather saddle bags and a rear backrest/sissy bar when I got it. It has been a great bike, it gets 70+ mpg on the highway, all lights and turn signals and the horn, etc.. work. The paint may look a little dull or dusty in the photos but it is bright in person - we live just off the highway so it gets dust from our gravel road when I travel the 1/2 mile of gravel to our place. It is not all scratched up. You could hop on and drive this anywhere from my place. I have a clear title (not salvage title, not rebuild title, not a bank-lien title, ...it is a regular clear title). This is a used bike so it is sold as-is with no warranty/guarantee.
