This is a completely original, low miles (62,377) F-100 Ranger 4x4. I purchased it from the second owner. Mechanical: Original FE 360 engine runs well. Lots of torque, no smoking whatsoever, it does have some oil seepage as usual for these engines but no serious leaks. The prior owner kept it in his garage with a metal pan underneath the engine and it had accumulated several drops of oil over a period of a few months. T-18 4-speed manual transmission and Dana 21 transfer case with manual locking hubs on the front end. A new radiator was installed recently. Brakes work fine and it has an electronic trailer brake controller. Exterior: There is quite a bit of surface rust over the hood, roof, and the bottom of the bed. Above both rear wheel wells is rusted out like many of these trucks, otherwise the rust is mostly just surface rust. There are a few scratches and minor dents. On the portions of the body that don't have rust, the original blue paint is still in very good condition. The tailgate is heavily dented and the left side latch rod has come off the handle requiring a quick pull with a set of pliers to open it. The inside of the bed is solid, relatively straight and has no rust holes. Almost all of the exterior trim pieces are still intact. All of the glass is in good shape. There is one rock chip in the windshield that has been repaired. There is a small piece of the grill missing (see pictures). The doors and windows open/close smooth and tight with no binding or rattling. Interior: For a 40-year old truck the interior is very clean and is all original. Everything on this truck works properly - all lights, switches, gauges, knobs, horn, even the original radio. The heater works great as well. The seat fabric has some tears but it is fairly clean. Has a seat cover but would be worth recovering. The dash pad has some fading and a few cracks. Original set of keys, matching ignition switch and door locks. The interior dome light cover is cracked but the light works. The knob on the end of the passenger window roller handle is missing, otherwise all of the interior parts are there and in good working order. Clean title, sold as-is with no warranty express or implied. Overall this is a great classic truck as-is, a solid work truck or restoration project.
