First : I am not with the car, I have sinced moved and someone else will be handling the actual sale or delivery for me. Mostly opening the Locked gate the car is behind and handing over the title and keys so you can get it out. ( I did see the car in person and It started right up!) Second: As far as I know everything below is accurate the condition is based on the condition it was last year when I put it away for the winter.Third: I am extremely busy, travel alot and may not respond to emails for a day or so. Finally - THE CAR IS A $1200.00 MERCEDES 300E. IF I SOLD IT PART BY PART I COULD GET MUCH MUCH MORE SO- DON'T OFFER ME STUPID PRICES!!!! **I can remove the doors and hood and get more than 300.00, so make an offer that's worth my time and don't waste my time with low ball offers** reasonable offers over $500.00 please IT WILL SELL FOR WHAT IT IS WORTH OR WON'T SELL. I AM NOT EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE TO DESPERATE NOR IS IT URGENT I GET RID OF IT. I DO NOT WANT AND WILL NOT TOLERATE EMAILS OUTSIDE OF EBAY ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE TO OFFER ME SERVICES A TRADE OR AN OFFER OF If it doesn't start or run, or it needs all new brakes, remember the above statement. THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS! It's up to you fix it drive it or use it for parts. it would take me about 2 days and $250.00 in parts to get it running and most likely pass NYS inspection If You take it to a transmission shop 300.00 for the seal, and a mechanic will charge @ 100.00 to install the muffler once you purchase for @ 125.00. Q: Why are you selling the Car? A: I have 4 Cars now, one is another Mercedes 300E, and I have no more room, nor the time or desire to do my own repairs anymore. It's just taking up space. Q Does it run?A: Yes it does Q: Has it ever been in an accident?A: Technically yes. The light turned green and the car behind me went before I did. Nothing major. there is a dent below the trunk lid and the driver side taillight is cracked. (after market Smoked LED taillights) Q: Has the head gasket been replaced, and if yes then when?A: Yes it has, about 50K miles ago, along with all the other gaskets and maintence that go along with that job. and not by the same idiot who replaced the transmission seal incorrectlyQ:Does all the power stuff work?A:all but one back window. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't Q: What does it "need" in order for me to drive it?A: The front transmission seal to be installed correctly. The Front seal and Torque converter seal were replaced. I drove the car home about 40 Miles and parket it for the winter in my garage, In the spring I went to pull it out and there was all the transmission fluid in the pan under the car. I Called the place that installed it.....We'll just leave it as, they are not a good place. and the seal isn't fixed.brakes will need sanding. The brakes on these cars rust up in a couple weeks. middle muffler needs replacing Q: What can it "use"?A: -Gas tank filler neck, or whole tank with the neck It's fine, but every once in a while with the windows open you get a fuel smell. -Driver seat or at least the cover, it's ripped leather -Brake tune up... The brakes rust up on these if they sit for a month a quick sanding should do it. -Full sound system re-do. There is an aftermarket stereo in the car. It is near impossible to put in an aftermarket stereo into these cars without rewiring the entire factory sound system. -Rear View Mirror, I have replaced it 3 times they just keep breaking?? -PAINT WORK. Q will it pass NYS inspection?A: I don't know All of the information above is true to my knowlege. The car has not been driven since last year and everything stated is based on the condition 9-12 months ago.
