Hello everyone I have a GREAT Cadillac DTS for the money. Car overheated once so I stopped driving it. I've had car diagnosed as warped cylinder #1. But strangely enough the car doesn't overheat at all on the highway, just in stop and go traffic. All fluids have recently been changed within the past 6 months including engine oil and transmission fluid. I've only used Mobil one full synthetic motor oil. Tires are still in great shape with 60% tread left. Coolant has been professional replaced within the past month as well. There are no leaks and no white smoke from exhaust. I can't stress enough how much this is still a great functioning car. The 2000 Cadillac DeVille reflects the bold spirit of great Cadillacs of the past. Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist and the StabiliTrak traction-control system 4.6 L L37 Northstar V8 290 hp (216 kW) at 5600 rpm-- 285 lb·ft (386 N·m) at 4400 rpm Transmission shifts smoothly This Cadillac is clean inside and out with a fantastic Bose sound system, front massaging seats, (they really do massage your back for 20 minutes) Front & Rear heated seats. All windows function properly. Also Ac & Heat function as well. This Cadillac is pearl white with a tan rag top. Lots of amenities! This is truly a beautiful car inside and out and still drives and functions fine, only issue is cylinder #1 which made the engine overheat within an hour of driving. Great car for someone, just needs cylinder #1 repaired. Mechanic stated issue where air pockets in cylinder which caused overheating issue. I was quoted $1200 for the repair which I have in writing, from a very reputable repair shop. Once again this is still a quiet smooth driving car! Contact me for any further details. Thank you.
