He has owned it for approximately 8 years. He was very meticulous with his cars. He was a parts maker/Machinist and everything had to be perfect, he's been through most everything in this car, switches, dashboard, lights etc. and made sure everything was up to his standards. When he became sick though he couldn't do much of anything and it's been just sitting in the garage the past few months. One thing I did notice when I drove it a couple weeks ago (the one time I've ever driven it) was that when I was backing out of the driveway it seemed to slip out of gear a little when I was backing up a hill, no problem on flat ground. Not sure if it's a clutch adjustment or what, I'm certainly no mechanic, but that's the only thing I can think of. The President of Volvo Sports America NJ Chapter looked at this car personally (my father in law was a member) and he is the one who wrote everything above (above the photo link) for his web site to show any interested members. For the next 2 days if anyone wants to cancel their bids because of what I have just written here after auction has started, I have no problem with that, just message me.
