This beautiful antique 1916 Buick D-35 Touring Car, is in very good condition. I was told it was an original survivor when I purchased it but I believe it was restored sometime back. However, it is a very nice older restoration. This Buick runs excellent! It starts on the first crank every time. It runs, drives and stops excellent for an original car of this vintage. It would be a perfect candidate for an easy restoration or drive it in parades or a Sunday stroll as it is. This car is not a show winner. The paint is good but old. It has some chips and blemishes but looks great from 5-10 feet away. The right fender has some cracking and chipping at the floor board area (see photos). There are other very small body imperfections but nothing major. The metal and wood are strong, straight and sturdy (no major rust or rot that I see). The tires are old and weathered but hold up good (no air leaks). The top needs replaced but is complete. The mechanics are excellent. The engine starts and runs perfect. To start it, the hand crank has to be used. The floor starter/generator does not crank it over. I believe the starter/generator would need to be cleaned or rebuilt in order to use the floor pedal start. However, it starts very easily with the hand crank. The transmission shifts as it should and holds in the gears. The glass is very good. The interior in very good. The seats, door panels and inner trim are like new. The carpet is complete but needs a good cleaning. This Buick is complete with the spare tire, original license plate, original keys and the original manuals! This fantastic Buick D-35 Touring is turn key ready to enjoy or perfect for an easy show restoration! I believe it is priced very reasonably. The Buick is currently registered and has a clean title.
