Hello, I am offering a 1979 VW Beetle Convertible that is nearly fully restored. As the second owner (since August 1981). I have continuously driven this car for 34 years. The engine was completely rebuilt in August 2000. The car is in excellent mechanical and physical condition - including the convertible top. It has never been in an accident and is completely rust-free - having spent all of its time in California's and Colorado's dry climate. The appearance is flawless except for a small scratch on the driver's side and a slight flaking spot on the passenger side. It has always been a daily driver, but practically never driven in rain or snow and has always been garaged. Oil changes have always been performed with synthetics. The tires have very little tread wear as well. The car was repainted (at a cost of $3,000) in its original River Blue Metallic color.
