This is a 1975 Cosworth Vega Number 1724. It was put into storage in 1992 and was recently brought back to running condition. I have had the car since November 1984. The cars history includes a short block exchange under warranty by the original owner. The car's body is in very good condition as far as rust is concerned. The floor boards are solid as well as the hatch floor. There is some surface rust and the worst is along the hatch pillars where there are two minor holes. The front end has a dent, but I have the replacement panels including two grills. The paint is checked and there are some scratches on the aluminum bumpers. I have an original 3M Cosworth sticker kit. The engine runs well and has the dual Weber carbs which were just rebuilt. The cams are shimmed correctly. The car currently has a 5 speed transmission, but the original 4 speed and driveshaft come with. The car has posi-traction. The wheels were restored prior to storage and are in excellent condition with original center caps. The interior is in good condition, it's mostly dirty, but the seats probably should be redone especially the front. The car has 24,196 miles and has never seen a winter. This car would be an easy restoration and includes many extra parts. Included are: 2 fuel injection units with computers, but only one stock airbox.( cannot guarantee their functionality) 1 Spare Cosworth engine, missing the cam pulleys ( removed cam carrier to shim engine in the car) Cosworth spare in hatch and extra Cosworth wheel Original owners manual Dash and guage cluster from Cosworth 3M sticker kit Spare header, but cut and not complete Everything I have is in the photographs, the condition of the underside and rocker panels is also visible.
