For sale is a very good 1985 Mercedes 380SL. You'll see by my 100% rating that I try to be as up front and honest on everything I sell, so here goes: This car runs great. No leaks. I just did all 4 rotors and pads all around. Brakes are strong. Car handles extremely well. I've had others that I was not in love the way they handle but this one is very respnsive. The interior is a 9 out of 10. You see the soft top is in very good condition and it also has the hard top on a stand (included) The worst part of the car is the paint. It was garaged it's whole life except for the last 2 years by the previous owner. Not only did they leave it outside but the parked it under a tree. There is tree sap on the hood and trunk that I don't even want to try to get off. There is also some rot on the rocker panels behind the front wheels. So it needs a paint job but it still looks good from 10 feet. The car also takes about 1 minute to warm up. Some one said it's the warm-up regulator. After 1 minute, it runs great. Other than that, the car is completely all original. No cracks in dash, original radio and I just put a brand new battery in it. I will also throw in the 5 new belts and alternator I bought but don't have time to install. The car is not going to sell at Barrett-Jackson but if your looking for a collectible, straight car that you can get in and drive right away and fix up as you go, this is it. There's NO RESERVE! Someone's going to get a really good deal!
