Vehicle Detail

My Yukon needs to be sold. I don't have the driveway space any more, there's no use getting sentimental even though this has been an awesome vehicle for me, hauled family and friends everywhere, did everything (even pulled a tractor half out of a lake along with cars stuck in the snow), went on countless camping trips and pulled our trailer with ease. One of the best parts of this thing was driving it in the winter; it's big and heavy, gets great traction, and the ABS works great. All that gave me a lot of confidence going out no matter what the weather and truly this past winter sucked big time. So if you like having an excuse that you can't get to work when the weather is bad, don't buy this, it'll ruin that excuse for you...forever. I bought it as the 4th owner in 2008 and it had about 88,000 miles on it. Since then, I've changed the oil every 5000 miles with fully synthetic; all other maintenance as suggested by my mechanic and pretty much one shop has done all the work so if you need any kind of maintenance record, we can probably get that (carfax seems to include a lot of it though). I have a carfax report PDF and can send that to you if you wish or you can run your own. It will show one accident. I backed into a guy about this time last year, all it did was bend my bumper a bit on one corner but that's been fixed. I did new rear leaf springs about a year and half ago using actual GMC parts to maintain the ride quality. Keep in mind, it's the 3/4 ton version so that's more truck-like. KBB puts this in the $6500 range. My reserve isn't anywhere near that high; I see people listing similar vehicles for that much, but I never see them sell for that much. Here's the options: V8 6.0L Automatic 4WD 2500 (3/4 ton) SLT AC front and rear Power Windows Power Locks Cruise Dual Air Bags Dual Power Seats Leather Quad Seating (4 buckets) plus 3rd row bench Privacy Glass (light tint, as far as I'm aware, this was factory done...no bubbles or creases) Running Boards 4 Wheel ABS Power Steering Tilt Wheel AM/FM Stereo, Cassette, Single CD Video System (actually has a VHS under rear seat, can hook up anything that can do RCA plug output) OnStar (but it's on the analog system so it's effectively unusable) Towing Package Roof Rack Alloy Wheels (factory original) It has a factory style K&N air filter in it, and clip on towing mirrors. Driver's door arm rest has a crack in it, I have the spare part I got off of ebay but haven't had time to install it; goes with the truck upon sale. Also included is a Diablo Sport Predator tuner. You can use it to scan for trouble codes (there are none currently and no I didn't just clear them) and upload modified tunes to adjust the vehicle's performance. Aside from doing the high performance tune a few times (and having to run premium fuel), because who wouldn't, right? I didn't use it for that purpose though. I used it to firm up the shifts. Since we towed with it, I wanted those shifts to be as firm as possible to save wear on the transmission. Currently, the original factory GMC tune is what's on the vehicle...it's a much smoother shift, better suited for comfort. So that's it then. It's gonna entirely bum me out when it sells. I hope you have as much fun with it as I have. Whoops, forgot to add one thing. I got a rock chip in it a few weeks ago and it turned into a crack today; upper corner and the crack is turning back to the top so it's stopped there, not going to progress further. Grrr. Pic is included. Unless I revise and state otherwise, the vehicle will sell with that cracked windshield. I'd normally go get it fixed, BUT, if I do that now and the windshield develops a leak at the seal, you won't be the owner that had the work done and you'd be SOL on having it fixed under the glass shop's warranty. So I'll leave it how it is so you can fix and be warrantied. I'd probably estimate $200 to replace. On Aug-18-14 at 14:21:20 PDT, seller added the following information: Wife said: "we're going to Disney before the kids get too old so you'd better sell that truck" I get the point...reserved lowered! Good luck all!
