The History: Up for sale is my Driftwood/Dark Red 87 Chrysler Conquest TSi. Book of service records dating back to original sale, not to mention owner's manual and factory service manuals. Most work claimed by previous owner is documented. Originally a North Carolina car, then brought out to California. I've had the car for only about a year, and have barely driven it except to keep the fluids flowing. Ended up having no time to give it the attention it deserves, unfortunately. Now I'm moving and have no place to park it among my other 3 cars. The Good: - Unique, gorgeous, and drives competently (except for Service Opportunities) - Clean title, 110k original miles - Just about everything works - No rust - Hard turbo plumbing and BOV - New Mitsubishi 17C turbo - New primary & secondary injectors - New struts - New clutch (undocumented in service records, though) - New tires - 1989 ECU (it got better each year...89 is the cream of the crop) - Assorted little items...fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, axle shaft, etc. - Some brand new wear item parts will come with the car Service Opportunities: - 1995 paintjob is sun damaged. Paint chunked off the spoiler. Leather dry and stitching coming loose. - Power steering pump whine - Heater core failed and needed to be bypassed. Another core comes with the car, but installation will be time-intensive. - A/C undiagnosed. It's gonna need more than a charge. - Rear end clunk when shifting. Torque tube U-joints are a common culprit. - Little things...horn quit working on me, suspension squeaks, tilt steering wheel lock gets loose, etc.
