The original white paint is covered with a removable plastic spray. You can remove the coat with a pressure cleaner and a plastic resolver available on the website plastidip.com. The benefit of this coat is that it is easier to clean than a regular paint and it protects. I run the car on waste vegetable oil and Diesel. The car has a second stainless steal tank, a heated fuel processor with sedimenter and fuel filter (just the filter is $500), second fuel pump with inline heater, heat exchanger and heated injector lines. The car runs 100% on vegetable oil. The Diesel is just used to start and to clean (purge) the engine. Please keep in mind the car is 27 years old. . The AC is cold but the cold air comes from the windshield and side vents and not the center. The cruise control does not work all the time, passenger and one window in the back does not work, injector pump is not clean, interior is in OK condition based on age and usage, trip counter does not work. The original color is white; the car has a removable black plasti dip coating. Removable like a wrap. There is some oil leaking from the injector pump. Nothing serious but annoying. The rear bumper is from a 300 sedan. The car does not have a radio antenna anymore. A professional welder closed the whole.Interesting detail about the car. I cannot guarantee the truth, but it seems like Fred Smith the FedEx founder was the first owner of the car.I added a picture of the car without the plasti dip in white.
