Unearthed after years of being forgotten. For sale is a 1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe - Barn Find, project car.Body: The body is in need of a complete restoration. As you can tell the nose is missing (we do have 65/66 front fenders and a 63 hood (all have cracks and defects). The roof is lifting, quarters are flared, and the tail panel area has a modified spoiler and non-factory style lights. There is a hole in the floor above where the differential goes, as well as numerous other areas that need work. See pictures. Frame: The frame is in fair condition but too requires restoration and repair to areas from rust. Typical scale is throughout along with various areas of thicker rust throughout. Rockers and cowl in bird cage appear to be in good shape. There is some rust on the upper windshield posts nears where the roof connects, however this should be fixable. Also in the rear door jam area there is need of rust repair.Suspension: The majority of the suspension items are present including the trailing arms, half shafts, differential case, camber rods, adjustment bolts, upper and low control arms, drag link, steering gear box, tie rods, spindles, pitman arm, idler arm, and various others. Additionally, the drum brake setup appears to be complete with backing plates and drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, etc. I do not know the mechanical condition of these parts and not advertising them as usable. Please use your own judgement.Drivetrain: No motor or transmission goes with the sale of the car. Differential is complete without gears. The differential is stamped (CB 11/30/62). CB suffix code stands for 3:36 posi rear.Interior: No interior goes with the sale of the car outside of any parts pictured. This car does retain a clear title. The Trim and VIN tags are still mounted on the birdcage, please do your own research to validate their originality. Real buyers only, do not bid if you are unable to complete the transaction.
