Beautiful Original 1981 Pontiac Bonneville Sedan Loaded with luxury! Sells with NO RESERVE! The start price is the reserve ! I bought this car from the original owner at a church auction, he donated it to. It was stored indoors the whole time he owned it in his heated garage. And meticulously cared for by him from the day he bought it new, it was his little baby. He never drove it in the winter and kept a driving log book of all miles and used this car for his vacation drives. I also have the original GM factory line ticket and original Bill of Sale and all paper work for any service he had done and all factory manuals that came with the car when new. This car is in unbelievable condition, I am going to describe this car as honestly as I can and if it is not as I say when you come to pick it up you don’t have to pay for it that’s how well I know this car will look to you when you see it. There is not a tear in any seat or upholstery and loaded with about every option available in 1981. The body paint is ALL ORIGINAL! And the body panels are solid! there is no body filler on this car and never in any accidents. The only body corrosion if you can call it that I have seen is on the bottom of the rear bumper were some of the chrome has peeled on the bumper, but the metal on the bumper is still solid! The front bumper is perfect . So I am assuming GM had a chrome adhesion problem on the rear bumpers. Either way it is very minor and easily replaced with a new one, but not seen unless you are under the car. This car has the 5.0 liter 307 V/8 motor with Automatic Overdrive Transmission, P.S. P.B. P.W. Tilt steering wheel , Cruise Control, Rear Window Defogger, Air Conditioning, Tinted Soft Ray Glass, Delco AM/FM Radio, Luxury Cushion Steering Wheel, Wire Wheel Covers, Cold Weather Group, Pin Striping, Deluxe Body Chrome PKG, Body Side Moldings, and it had the very best dealer applied undercoating and Quaker State Penn Guard to the metal body panels. This car runs and drives like new and it is the smoothest riding automobile I have ever road in! I installed a very nice trailer hitch to tow my light weight aluminum trailer behind the car, to car shows with my table chairs and sun tent. This hitch was not on the car until after I bought it just a few years ago. It was never used to tow any heavy loads ever, as my trailer is only 400 lbs and I only used the hitch twice since I put it on. I tried to get the best photos of the car I could to show you the cars quality condition even with the original factory paint job. There is minor body imperfections. Mostly small rock chips and the passenger rear door has a couple of small scratches and very minor door dings and other minor imperfections of the 33 year old original paint! I took this car to my local body shop and asked about getting a new paint job before I sold the car, but the owner of the shop said leave it as is this car is original and the best Bonneville he had ever seen and anyone buying it would rather see it in original condition to see just how rust free the body panels are on this car! The only known mechanical thing that could use work is the AC is low on Freon and could use a recharge. But it is working properly just not as cold as I would like it to be. When you drive this car you will be amazed at the quality of mechanical condition it is in and just how smooth and quiet she drives! The GM mile per gallon rating on this car is 28 MPG HWY!!! with that small V8 and the automatic overdrive transmission she drops into low rpm’s on the highway and gave Pontiac’s large car lineup a boost in sales as did Buicks Lesabre with the same power train that year. In my opinion this car represents Detroit’s very best luxury with good gas mileage. This is a CASH sale only on pickup. If you bring a check you will have to bring it to your bank and get the cash into my hands to drive the beauty to it’s new home. If you mail me a check I will need to be able to cash the check at a local branch of your bank near me to get the cash that day.
