In this auction I am selling one 1965 Ford Thunderbird. For its day this vehicle was fully loaded; Power seats, power windows, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning and a sliding steering Colum. It is green with a black vinyl top. The top is in excellent condition with no rips or tears and no rust damage. The interior is black leather and very close to perfect. The vinyl dash is also excellent with no cracks. The vinyl on the drivers door handle has tearing. The headliner has two our three small holes in it where unfortunately a mouse made a home at some point. He doesn't reside there anymore. I have limited knowledge when it comes to cars but I will do my best to described what I see. The body has some minor dents and some rust. The chrome to me looks awesome for a car that is 50 years old. It defiantly will need a paint job when the body work is done. She needs a new set of tires. Has a 390 CI. Engine with the gold tappet covers and air cleaner, which I was told by a mechanic means that this is the High Output engine with 300 Horsepower. She fires up with the first turn of the key. I have driven it at 55 mph and it rides nice. It is a clean running engine and does not burn oil, The transmission shifts great. So its a great runner and has a great interior, just needs some body work. This is the 300 horse power engine.
