Vehicle Detail
Please read the description fully and ensure that you can meet the obligations of this auction before bidding. This car is more than 20 years old and it has not been Maryland State Inspected. Selling this fine piece of automobile, an 88 Lincoln Mark VII LSC. This vehicle features a 5.0L mustang V8 standard, however this one has been modified tastefully. New wiring, a fully Ford Racing intake, including a mustang cobra manifold and intake, and Catback exhaust (I think it's catback, I don't have a lift to get under it). The car runs perfectly and most importantly, EVERYTHING WORKS! All the buttons function as they did then she rolled off the line. On top of that, the exterior of the car is in VERY clean condition. There are a couple very small rust spots (see pics) and someone keyed the back part of the trunk, which is a real shame. There is also a little bit of paint discoloration on the passengers side door (see pic), but other than those things, which you can see from the pics are pretty minor, the car is pristine. Inside the carpet is plush and the leather is tight. There is a small rip in the driver's seat, the most common place, on the side of the seat where you enter the vehicle (see pic). The car is wonderful to drive and it hasn't even hit 100K yet, she's in the prime of her life and done up tastefully but with a little extra power to give this car a great ride. If you have any questions please let me know, I will do my best to answer clearly, but I don't know a whole lot about car mechanics so bear with me. I may have to find a mechanic friend if you have a specific question that needs mechanical expertise to answer. Happy bidding! PLEASE READ:This car is less than 20 years old, and is not MD State Inspected, so it will be sold with the Historic designation for MD residents, for non-MD residents this is inconsequential. Payment is to be made in cash. Paypal and Bank Transfers are not cash, cash is physical, paper money. If you are a long-distance buyer, ensure that you have someone that can come in person with the payment and to sign for / collect the titlework. A $200 deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction's end. This can be paid through Paypal. The remainder is to be paid in cash at the time of pick-up. Bidders with zero or negative feedback must contact me prior to bidding – I will delete your bids otherwise. Please do not send me angry emails when you bid without contacting me, and then find that I have deleted your bids, I have had some bad experiences with false bidders and after some lengthy discussions with ebay support, this was the only option they gave me to avoid a repeat of those experience. This car is sold AS IS, with NO WARRANTY. Please examine the photos, and contact me if you have any questions. Serious bidders are welcome to come see the car, just give me notice ahead of time so we can work out a good time. Since this car is being sold by a dealership, if on arrival for pick-up the buyer has a valid driver's license and proof of insurance, a 2-month temp. tag can be supplied at an additional cost of $35. Payment is to be made in CASH at pick-up. Winning bidder needs to contact me within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The car must be picked up within 1 week of the end of the auction. On Aug-09-14 at 20:19:26 PDT, seller added the following information: *UPDATE* - Because I don't know much about cars mechanically, all I can tell is that it looks shinier than normal, I took her to a friend of mine to get a better understanding of the engine. He was impressed with what he saw, in addition to the shiny new intake parts, many of the key engine components were recently replaced. New fuel rod, new injectors, new spark plugs, upgraded spark plug wires and several other brand new parts were installed not too long ago (sorry I forgot all the names of the parts he rattled off). The car is solid, I took a 2 hour drive to a near-by drag strip (not to race, just to watch) with my family yesterday, then drove the 2 hours back home last night. The car was perfect, temp gauge never wavered, the car is really a prize. I will try and close-up pics of the new engine parts so you can see the high level of maintenance on the vehicle.
